About Us
Rainbow Community Services is a subsidiary of Rainbow Community Church.
We are a fully registered Not for Profit charity.
We are a Food Rescue Charity; we collect produce from various Supermarkets 3 days a week and pack the produce into Hampers for those in need to collect.
We primarily service suburbs in the Shire of Wanneroo, though we do not turn a person away if they are from another area. In particular we support, Elderly, Indigenous, Unemployed or those unable to work. During the height of Covid-19 we also supported clients from the Red Cross, Salvation Army, City of Stirling, and Wanneroo.
Mission Statement
We believe that no child, parent, or community member should go hungry. We aim to make a positive difference in our community.
How you can Help
Some of the essential items we would use funds raised are – Fuel for the van, take away containers, PPE for the volunteers, some dry grocery items, trolleys to help the clients take the hampers to their cars and various other administration supplies.
